Downstairs loo

Bloody hell! I'm having our donwstairs loo redone - new WC, sink, vanity unit, wall and floor tiles.

Except it looks vile. I was perusaded to go for white square wall tiles and it looks like a public toilet. The vanity unit and sink are tiny and the tap looks all out of proportion.

It's not been cheap. I'm going to have to re-do it.

Pants!

Can't you accessorise with bright towel, soap, loo brush etc. Is it tiled floor to ceiling otherwise you could put up photos/pictures. My downstairs loo is actually one of my favourite rooms (admittedly not white) but full of various interesting pics and photos - visitors always spend ages in there. I always make sure I have gorgeous soap and that it smells lovely.

I'll try. I was going to find a really lovely light and put up some photos anyway, but it just looks horrid at the moment.

Thanks for the reply.

Can you upload a pic? Maybe we can make some suggestions, even if those suggestions agree with you re-doing it!

Would replacing a few white tiles with black ones help? Either scattered randomly or as a border?
