solution for this glass front door, in rented

I am thinking about renting a house, which I do like the look of, but there are a few problems, which I am trying to put costs to, to see whether it would be worth putting an offer in. One thing is the front door (see profile pics).
What could I do to the bottom part of the glass that would still look nice, and not be costly or tricky to put right when the tenancy ends? I wouldn't be happy with a front door like that as it stands.

oops, thanks for pointing that out! have changed it now.
there's also a French windows situation I am not thrilled about (I love French windows, but the gardens around the house don't seem very secure, so it all seems a bit vulnerable).

Do you not like the fact that it's transparent? You can get plain and patterned opaque sheets that you can cut to size and stick to the glass - they just peel right off. Otherwise you could put a length of curtain/blinds? The plastic stuff would be cheaper though.

Is it the transparency? Just hang an organza drape in front of it?

I don't like people being able to see in the front door either.

French windows you might be better with a sheer curtain.

oh, gosh, thanks for your responses - particularly the nature of them. It's the break-in-abilty that bothers me, and DH. I swear I thought I put that in my OP, but looking back it appears I hadn't. I thought it seemed quite vulnerable?

Don't mind the visibility, and yes, it all looks lovely. But to me it says "smash me and break in". We just left a not very salubrious part of London last summer - maybe our mentality hasn't changed yet!

NC for this BTW as it's taken property details in a small rural town that is very MNy.

what sort of lock does it have?

a glass-panelled door, or a door with a letter-box, are unsuitable for yale-type nightlatches.
