Has anyone been yet? How was it?

Went yesterday on a free ticket:

All the usual stuff - depends what you are interested in. The Prince's House was a waste of time and really not very interesting.

I got 10% extra discount on carpets (need to do this)

2 water saving shower heads woth money back guarantee. Have tested them today and although they are quite noisy Confused they definitely use less water but still feel OK with high pressure water so will be keeping.

Some Back Door Shoes (like crocs without holes so I won't get wet socks anymore in long grass)

Useful info on replacing a flat felt roof with fibre glass, and LED lights.

And some super water absorbing cloths!!

Quickstep have a good display stand for anyone considering laminate flooring (very convincing)

Great thanks.
I'm keen to look at kitchens, bathrooms, windows & bifold doors.
Now googling for discounted tickets

There were a few kitchen and bathroom stands (nothing exciting in the show house though). Lots of windows and doors -I'm sure if you check the website you will see a list of exhibitors.

I am going on Friday. Never been before and am completing on a house that needs lots of redecorating so hoping there will be something useful.

I can only stay for 4 hours - is that enough time?

Yes, if you focus! Don't go upstairs , do a fast walk round the downstairs and then go back and see the ones that will be of most use.

wallpaperdirect if they have any special offers
Quickstep if you think you will put laminate flooring anywhere as it's very useful to see the reality rather than just pics in a brochure
