Can I put new grout on top of old grout as long as the old stuff is clean and dry, or do I have to scrape it out?

scrape it out. hard work but necessary. it will just fall off otherwise sorry! is the grout just stained /discoloured or is it falling out?

Hi, mostly discoloured, but in some places it looks like there just isn't enough. (Tiler wasn't great tbh)
What do I use to scrape it? Tia

It isn't an easy job by hand. We have just tried doing ours and gave up.

An angle grinder - which you will need a very steady hand for.

Or one of these

do not use AN ANGLE GRINDER!!!!! IF YOU GO TO SOME WHERE LIKE TOPPS TILES THEY WILL ADVISE YOU IN WHAT YOU NEED!
