I hope to have a stone flagged patio in a sun spot - big enough of garden table and chairs. No idea what to expect costs wise.
Can you share your experiances with me thank you.

I think it depends largely on what type of patio you want - the tiles will cost per meter sq'd. If you know the rough length and width you can google the type of patio slab/brick/tile you are thinking of and get an estimate for yourself.

Depends on what surface is there already, we are having our patio done at the moment and the surface under the old patio is rubbish so they need to excavate it, put lots of compacted stuff (there is a technical name but I can't remember it), sand etc in order to give a firm base before the cost of the tiles and laying them. Our patio area is about 25sqm iirc and all of the work from removing the old to the completed thing is about £2.5k (about £1k is the paving iirc)

Thanks both.
2.5 k is rough budget.
