I think I have the tester pot for eco somewhere - but can't remember what I thought of the colour. We used little greens starling egg in one room which is similar but not as gorgeous as little greens pearl which we pared with a F&B off white in a different room. The paint itself is great quality with good coverage.

Hi ggirl, are you definitely looking to use 'Echo'? You could order one of our colour cards to help you choose if you like? lgpc.me/RBSxjj

Hi Littlegreene (how exciting), thanks , is it a large card? I have painted an A5 piece of white card with echo and love how it looks in the room, people keep telling me it will look completely different when I paint it on the cream coloured walls.
I'm loathe to paint splodges all over the room.

So is it true that I'll get the same colour on the walls that is on the card??

Hi ggirl, well it's our 'Flying Chips' colour card which has all of our colours on the chips. The card enables you to place the chip against the surface you want to paint.

Take a look at this Facebook album so you can see how it would work: lgpc.me/Ydb1Og

The chips are painted in our actual paint so this would give you a very good idea on how it would look. It does all depend on the lighting of the room and the surface you're painting on though.

ggirl · 15/03/2013 19:06

oh I have one of those cards

so you won't get a true value of how it will look on the wall unless you paint on it?

The paint used on the chips is 'Absolute Matt Emulsion' so if you use this finish then the colour on the chips will be extremely close to the colour you end up with on the walls. However, lighting in the room can slightly alter one?s perception of the colour and this is something we can?t control. If you were to use a different finish then the you might see a very slight difference in colour due to an increase in the sheen level and batch to batch variation but the colour tolerance on each batch and finish is very tightly regulated.

Littlegreene - why are your test pots so expensive? Why don't you offer to refund the cost of the test pot if someone buys the full tin of paint? Please Smile
