Nice location around Feltham

Hello,

my friend is moving back from Houston to work for her company in Feltham, UK. She is looking for a nice area where she can find a one or two bedroom flat for less than 1400GBP a month all bills and council tax included. Any ideas? She is able to commute to work by car, so it can be a rural area but needs to have good transport links and not too far from London (within one hour).

Does anybody have an idea? Thanks a lot, P

Teddington and Hampton are nice, not sure of rental prices though. Feltham itself is a bit unlovely.

Teddington will be too expensive as most places start at about £1,000 - Hampton seems a bit cheaper but would be about 800-900 for a one bed. What about further out towards Staines , chertsey or Walton?

Does bills include food, petrol, parking , insurance?

The words 'nice location' and 'Feltham' don't usually appear in the same sentence. Agree with Celtic that Teddington and Hampton are nice. Old Isleworth is also quite nice. Kingston is nice. Richmond is vaair nice. Weybridge is nice. East Molesey is nice.

Council tax is minimum of £80 per month or so.

Sunbury? The village bit. Shepperton?

£1400 includes everything flat related. Council tax, bills and rent. Food etc. comes extra.

I suppose 1250 for rent will leave enough spare to cover council tax and bills?
This looks nice and is opposite one of the most beautiful parks www.rightmove.co.uk/property-to-rent/property-25934454.html and very close to Hampton Wick station.

Agree Walton/weybridge/lower Sunbury/Hampton court.

Doubt very much you will get a 2 bed place in Richmond for that. Would probably struggle for a 1 bed. I would try and stay richmond side of feltham though but that's because I would want to be closer to London.

It doesn't have to be a two bedroom. She works in Feltham, so it doesn't have to be close to London BUT it needs the area needs to have nightbuses.
