Re-Vamping Vertical Blinds - is it possible?

I have plain, boring beige vertical blinds. Is it possible to cover them (individually) with a new fabric/material? I'm thinking fabric glue/wonder web (I can't sew). Has anyone done this?

I'm looking at my vertical blinds and can't see how it could be done and look decent if you can't sew! Even if you could sew (and I can) it would be very difficult. if you were arty, you could paint/stamp/dye them perhaps?

I guess you could dismantle the blinds though, removing the fittings from the existing fabric and make new "slats" from different material (re using the old fittings) but it would be hard to get it just right.

I'd buy new ones - and I run a sewing business and still wouldn't attempt it!! Grin

You can buy rolls of the slats in B&Q so you could replace them yourself.
