Where do I get Beautiful Wood Garden Furniture - CHEAPLY¬! ?

I need a table that seats six. Needs to be wood. Where can I find a reasonably priced garden set?

In the End of Summer Sales.

If it rains a lot beginning of summer/bank holiday sales will be good too.

I'd try independent garden centres.

If you can collect and disassemble, also worth checking out eBay, gumtree, fb selling pages?

Will end of summer sales be before End of July? I need them by the first of August.

there is a faint chance you will find some last-year stock in Homebase or other big sheds if you go in (not on websites any more).

All the retailers will have tried to clear their summer stock before they filled up with Christmas stuff in September. Tescos were halving the price of theirs, then halving it again.

Robert Dyas have some but it looks like it has gone back to list price now. Last summer their furniture was not the same quality as the year before. You really need to look at it and handle it.

ebay, plenty of bargains to be had, where we got ours, particularly if you start looking for summer before everyone else does ( ie. now), are prepared to travel and collect ( car with a tow bar and a trailer ) and are prepared to take on a bit of oiling /painting.

Last spring we got a big table and 6 carvers in solid teak for a third of the new price. £10 of teak oil later, looks as good as new

Where are you? Lots of prisons make and sell nice wooden furniture for cheap. HMP Kirkham in the NW have a good selection.

Ebay, especially if you get quotes for delivery from shiply.com or similar before bidding. Helps if at least one of you and item is in a populated area.
