Everyone has been helpful re my floor woes. I think we're finally there, just have a qu re costs.

We're getting 30sqm tiled in a mandarin stone (forget exact one) which is c.£40 per sqm. Our builder is looking to do the whole shebang, so underfloor heating (he's saying this will be £3k) and then doing the floor. It's an old house so there's a fair amount of remedial work to level out the flooring etc. Then he'll lay floor and seal it.

Got his down to £8,400 which just feels like SO much. I trust our builder but know he's not the cheapest so would like some advice from anyone that's done similar work. Thanks
