Hiya
We have used them recently for new worktops in kitchen and utility room and new doors and drawers. Really impressed - nice fitters who took the time to do a really good job (suggesting extra little things at no extra cost to us just so it would look better) and good service. We were happy with the layout of our kitchen so were happy to update what we already had and we are pleased with it. Feel free to pm if any specific q's!

Hi Hertschick it won't let me PM you. I'm interested in worktops only (cupboards are good quality) - could you give me an idea of what you paid for worktops only? All we need is a new worktop & new cupboard handles really. We have tiles on the walls for splash backs but they come up quite high so am wondering if a new worktop over the old one is going to be a problem as the bottom row of tiles won't fully be on display...probably something for the designer to look at & solve! Any info gratefully received!!!! :) P.S. I'm in Hertford!

We also looked at them in the Tunbridge wells store. The concept is good if the kitchen does not need replacing as they just go over the top.
Easily fitted after templating HOWEVER the reseaon we did not purchase is that they are NOT granite!!
Have a look at the actual material, it is a manmade product at a similar price to granite.
We used a north London company that brought graniteover from Italy and fitted. It cost 4k just £500 more than granite transformation quote for the real thing.
I will look them up and let you the name as they were very good!

4k sounds a lot for a cover....

I have aways put solid granite worktops in and it usually costs me half that figure. Go direct to a stone importer ( look up on Yellow pages) - you can select your individual slab and then get a stone mason to template and fit for you.

I think we spent about 3k on the worktops and we have a pretty big kitchen&utility room and that incl windowsill, kickbacks and a big splashback behind cooker.

I think they have different finishes depending on colours you choose. We have tile splashbacks but the top we choose seems to work well but I suppose would depend on the tiles you have and the design.

I probably wouldn't choose the drawer and cupboard handles again from them - I liked the ones we picked but they didn't have that much choice and could probably have got cheaper elsewhere. As they were doing the cupboards seemed easier just to get them to do the handles but probably not that hard to do yourself.

Def work getting a quote! Love our kitchen now and really easy to clean. We had wooden worktops before which was a nightmare to keep clean/dry etc.

I had ordered worktops and put everything on hold because I was waiting for money to come through. It is now about to come through so we went to the Brentwood store this week only to find that there was nobody there and the showroom looked decidedly empty. We called their number and an answering service came in but they were not able to get any answer from the number they had. It looks like they are no longer trading. I guess it is going to be fun trying to get my deposit back.

they are definately still trading, they have just relocated their showroom. They can be contacted on 01277 231555
