I posted a few months ago about areas to live in the NorthWest of London and got some great suggestions. Are we missing a trick by only focussing on that area? Our office will be in Hammersmith, we have 400k max (dependant on finance enquiries of course), and need min 3bed, good primary schools, perhaps good nurseries (I may just spend all my NET on a nanny, we're not sure yet what the best option is)
So firstly, What other areas would you live in apart from the NorthWest for good commute to Hammersmith?
Secondly, what is the market like? ie for house price listed, can you normally offer below, or is it a case of houses selling for more than listed price in London, or does it depend on the popularity of the area?
We have no clue about London, we're currently in Canada, and can't do a reccy before we get there, so any info is much appreciated.
