We moved into our house last August and are coming to the stage now where we are thinking about redecorating the front room. Does anyone have any suggestions of where the best place to look for inspiration is? I buy Home magazines but have yet to be inspired! The house is over 100 years old and we would like the front room to have a "traditional" feel to it. The plan is to remove the hideous gas fire contraption and replace with a log burner (recessed back into the chimney breast), so also replace the "fireplace" with a reclaimed victorian one ... but I've no idea about colours or wallpaper patterns. Can anyone help?
