What adhesive should I use to fix a chipboard mounted stainless steel splashback to a plaster wall?

It is rather large. I will drill holes in the corners but as I want it to stay flash against the wall, I need to use some sort of adhesive for the main surface. Bearing in mind I won't be able to have anything leaning against it until it dries (apart from myself that is), what adhesive would work best?

no-more-nails, gripfill or a reputable own brand, and keep pressing while it sets. The solvent adhesives are usually faster than solvent-free.

chipboard is very heavy so the screws in the wall must take the actual weight.

I would use anti-mould white silicone round the edges to keep dirt, insects and moisture out. Damp will make it warp.

You might consider Mirror Plates which enable it to be lifted off the wall if necessary. It will tend to hang vertically even without adhesive.

Thank you Goose and Piglet. It sounds like Evo will do the job. Thanks so much!
