Removing stubborn grout

Hi, does anyone know of a suitable product to remove old, firmly stuck on grout? I attempted a mosaic in the kitchen, partially grouted, then got ill with flu, so left it..... Grout is stuck all over the surface of the ceramic tiles, and I'm afraid has been like that for two years! Am now feeling like tackling it, only tiny bits come off with a Brillo pad, is an A3 sized area, so was hoping for some sort of magic acidly thing that would dissolve it all, any ideas? Many thanks.

Would a razor stripper work? I use it for all sorts of things not just stripping wallpaper but I have used mine to remove tile adhesive from the walls after we removed tiles. I have also used it to remove a wallpaper border without damaging the wall paper underneath!

One like this

Just be careful not to chip any edges of your mosaics ie I hope that they are pretty flat.
