Bathroom decor?

My bathroom suite is white as are the tiles. I would like a black & white checked vinyl for the floor but wonder if I can use any other colour of paint on the walls other than white with this combination. I am worried it could look a bit cold & sterile if I paint the walls white?

Theres lots of.colour.you could use with black and white: purple, orange, red.

Do you use Pinterest? Lots of.inspiration on there.
