As a newbie, should I get drawn into an argument, on mn or walk away when told you're wrong!

Even when I have explained myself and told I am lying

It's OK to be wrong as long as you understand why you're wrong, apologise and move on. Just say you're sorry and you're leaving the thread. It depends on the argument though, sometimes threads change very quickly so you'll get people backing you up (unless you're clearly very wrong). Are you OK?

Depends if you still think you are right and how strongly you feel. Also depends if your opinion is causing hurt or offence to others.

You are entitled to your own opinion

Which thread is it? I tend to stick to the facts but everyone is entitled to their opinion. I don't like reading offensive comments and it can be uncomfortable when ganging up starts. Saying that some people deliberately goad others.
