This is my first post - only discovered Mumsnet recently (yes, I lead a very sheltered life) and have been very impressed with how much useful info there is to help someone like me (ie rubbish at decision making and interior design) to choose stuff! We're rebuilding our house and I am bitterly regretting the whole thing at the moment, but need to keep going and get things ordered otherwise we'll be destined to live in the garden for ever.
Anyway, trying to sort out tiles for utility room at moment. Am going for engineered wood in open plan kitchen/living area but want something more practical but still lovely in utility. Going for a sort of Plain English look (I think that's what it's called, judging by the kitchen threads!) with painted kitchen and soft colours ie not ultra modern/contemporary. Love the look of tumbled limestone or similar in a dark beige sort of colour (quite rustic looking). Was thinking porcelain tiles with fake stone look might be the way to go so was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for suppliers of good quality (but not ridiculously expensive!) ones.
Thanks
