Endurance paint advice please

Ok, in a moment of indecision (or madness!) I have decided to paint most of our house a shade of white. This is totally impractical as I have a ds who loves putting his hands on the wall etc.

As it is a Dulux shade, I have decided to use the endurance paint to allow me to wipe it down. Some of the walls are going to need lots of coats so can I use the regular paint in the same shade and just use the endurance paint on the top coat or do I need each coat to be endurance? (The reason I am asking is that the endurance paint is more expensive and dh has started painting with the normal matt paint)

Thanks in advance

should be fine as long as top coat is proper covering if you see what I mean

and endurance really is scrubbable it is great

If you are painting on top of silk finish I find the first coat is awful anyway, so always use some cheap paint for that. If on top of new plaster (after you have sealed it) then the paint goes on brillinatly, hardly needing second coat, so how much you use may depend on underlying surface

Thanks. Seems logical to me but didn't want to make a mistake!
