Anyone got a small master bedroom?

We are moving into a new house soon. Our room will be 3.5 by 3.2 meters. We currently have a kingsize bed which would be difficult toreplace as we have a tempur mattress which was very expensive. I have no idea if we can fit our bed plus a good size wardrobe and chest of drawers in. Does anyone else have a room this size? Tips for storage would be appreciated!

Yes! I can just about fit in a double bed, drawers and a small wardrobe. I have to hang some clothes in my sons' wardrobes, fold a lot of stuff in drawers and am very envious of my friends with built in double wardrobes and dressing tables!

Also have a bed with lots of underneath storage.

And I'm single so no idea how two of us would cope with such little space.

What are the other rooms? Any spare bedroom? Have a look at the Ikea space saving solutions and report back if you find anything that could help me too!

yes after swapping rooms with dd1 last year but about to knock wall down and give DD2 a bigger room and I am going onto sofa bed in lounge!!

Could only fit a double divan in and had to cut the base down to fit, hated the room felt so cramped in it.
In dd's new room plan to have floor the ceiling storage at one end of the room for us both to share

Just measured mine! It's pretty similar. We have a kingsize bed and built in wardrobes. It's fine. Get it made to measure and then you use all available space to best effect

Our master bedroom is 3.9 x 2.7 meters. We do have a king size bed, but a divan. Couldn't have managed a frame bed. We also have 2 corner wardrobes (ikea pax) which are very space saving and hold lots of clothes. Additionally we have 2 chests of drawers, 2 bedside tables, a bookshelf, a blanket box and a laundry basket. We even have a small cot in with us at the moment, so it's pretty cramped! But we can still just about walk around three sides of the bed.
