Have just spent an hour drilling and putting up a roman blind

I stood back, pleased with my handiwork.

I pulled it up, down up again and now it's skewiff

Ice examined the mechanism and can't find a way to loosen the one cord that us too tight

Obvs I can take it back but it was half price in the JL sale and they didn't have another :(

Oh how many hours did dm and I spend doing this? In the end we cut the cord near the end where the toggle is, that's the bit you hold to pull it down, when he blind was down.

Then we held the cords all together and pulled the blind back up right to the top and then tied the cords again.

It took several attempts and a minor row but we got there in the end.

Thank you for sharing my pain

It's not the sort where the cords are the bit you pull :(

They go up into a mechanism at the top and it's just not winding correctly

I think it's doomed. Now I've got big ugly useless brackets and no blind and you can bet your bottom dollar that any replacement blind I get won't fit the same brackets. Grrr
