Does anyone have a Burlington Shower? Nipple question.

We have just put in a Burlington shower head which is lovely, but it has there really ugly (ahem) grey rubber nipples.

Has anyone else got one of theses and removed the nippples?

if you take the rubber pimples out, the water will not squirt out, but will dribble. It is a very common feature of modern shower heads. They have fine jets to give a spray.

the flexible rubber inserts are so you can rub them, and limescale will tend to crack away so that it no longer obstructs water flow.
