Where can I get kitchen shelves like this but cheaper?

That is insane. Ikea do some almost identical. Guess issue is they are standard length (poss shorter) and not same colour. Easy enough to buy triangle brackets like that and paint a plank of wood you wanted for a fraction of price

If you get a tester pot of Annie sloan paint then this shelf would come up almost identical. the testers are about £5, I think. varnish or wax.

Thanks both...we have some painted wood we could use. Where can I buy triangle brackets of a good enough quality to hold lots of cookery books? I have found some in B&Q value range but reviews suggest they will fall apart.

Get a carpenter to do them Ikea ones not in teh same league we had them in our garage very flimsy

wooden shelves and brackets are sold (in self-assembly form) by all timber merchants.

Some cutting is required.

my dh bought wood from the timber merchants , cut to fit and we bought b&q brackets . it was very cheap.
