Has anyone registered their home with location scouts?

My mum and dad were talking about this the other day, they want to register their house for use as a location but I don't really know where to start. Anyone got any suggestions?

A friend of mine had his house on with Salt - it got used in some TV crime thing. they charge a flat percentage of the fees you get, and no set up costs, I think.

if anyone wanted to use mine, it would be ideal for a post-apocalyptic drama or possibly just somewhere that has been squatted and ransacked.

I haven't but know a couple of people who have: high ceilings and free parking seem to be deciding factors in whether your home is used or not. Be warned: TV crews make a lot of mess and can cause a fair amount of low level damage (chipped paintwork, marks on walls, stained carpets etc) so, if your parents are at all precious, it's probably not for them.

I think my friend got about £1,000 for a day, and they redecorated one of his rooms as well.

Thanks for that sleepysands, I'll look them up.

They have loads of parking space, huge amounts of space outside their house too (3 acre garden) and the advantage of being inside the M25 (just)

They're not too precious about it, it's very old (15 th C) and has been through the wars - literally Grin but because its so old they thought it might be of interest to film companies.
