I am looking for a modern minimalist front door - hardwood double doors with glass side panels ideally.Got a quote from Urban Front Doors for £9 k +.
.Its for a 1950s renovated house and interior is light and contemporary.

Any advice on where I might get well made contemporary front door(s) at a price I could cope with ??

Try a local "architectural joiner" - the sort of place where they make windows and staircases to order.

what does a contemporary minimalist door look like?

We used Todd Doors, our carpenter recommended them.

Have 12 of the Iseo K4500 doors (oak) and 3 Iseo K4515 Oak doors of the inside the house and for our front door have used 2 x Oak Monza frosted glass. He is putting the front doors in next week. So far we have been really pleased with the quaility of all the internal doors. We also got them on sale which made the total cost much more bearable.

Forgot to say I went to The London Door Company and got a quote for £4K for double front doors which I thought was OTT. DH said "you have got to be kidding"...

Todd Doors are really helpful over the phone, they were very patient with me each time I called with a query re our doors...

I love the door in your link, what I originally wanted but one of my front doors has a brick wall behind it (supporting wall) e.g. it's false so we couldn't have opaque glass either side with an oversized door.

Good luck!
