Apologies if this has been done before. In process (been going on for ever) of extending house, new bathrooms, bedrooms and kitchen.
Now getting to exciting bit choosing interior stuff, in particular Kitchen flooring . Will be large (ish) open plan kitchen/diner/family room. I have my eye on black granite floor tiles (we are having black granite work surfaces), husband also considering wood flooring.
My question is how wearable are the granite tiles - do they scratch easily - this is going to be main part of home with ++coming/going . Current floor (no idea what exactly) is some sort of stone flag - very tough - everything shatters if dropped - but also hard wearing - nothing scratches it etc.
Any advice would be great!
