Fire guard for inglenook fireplace

Are there any that aren't hideous? I can't find any.

I thought we'd just have the fire on after the kids have gone to bed, but it turns out we are sometimes lighting it during the day, and singed toddlers/babies are not a good look.

We had an extendable/adjustable one from John Lewis. Not attractive, but as yo say, better than singed toddlers. Just remind yourself it is not forever. The one we had you could detach/fold down if you could be arsed but it tended to stay up all the time tbh...as an added protection against heads on hearthstone

I bought an inglenook fireguard off of amazon this week. It was the nicest I could find. Can't link as I'm on phone. It was pretty modern looking and matched the inglenook companion set we bought. It doesn't cover the entire hearth area though but I was happy with it just guarding the stove.
