who would like to tell me how much they paid (and how many sq meters).

Trying to work out if my quote for 6sqm of knight tile of £450 is reasonable or not. I have chosen the rather expensive mosaic strips as well....

I recently paid £900 for my kitchen and extension - van gogh range I think. Total area was about 13m sq (2.5m x 6m less area for kitchen units). I think the amount of preparation required affects cost.

I have been quoted ? £840 for about 14 m^2. I live in the sticks where minimum wage is the standard wage, though. Mine is "American Oak".

Thanks ppl I think my quote is ok then - without the border roughly £60/sqm fully fitted. Don't tell DH!!!

we got our bathroom done in light oak, I paid £130 for 4 sq metres fitted by a friend on a homer job, that was half price. He paid £80 for 5 sq meters of the tiles and the rest was fitting. It is quick to fit an only took him 2 hours. obviously it was cheaper because it was a friend but even at full price it would have been only £260 for 4 sq metres

No idea if this is true but my fitter said that Karndean only honour their guarantee if the floor it fitted by an approved installer... I could get the Karndean myself a bit cheaper online but I have to go through the fitter...

We paid £2600 for 48sqm Van Gogh Aukland Oak.
Don't recall a guarantee though! Seems like a very good job and preparation was as prescribed by Karndean as far as I could judge - I did look into it. Not overly bothered..........................
