Kitchen Floor tiles -cheap alternative to grey slate?

Really need to find some floor tiles! I will attach a pic on my profile of the kitchen style I'm going for. I'd like grey slate looking floor tiles (think actual slate will work out too expensive so need to compromise) or possibly some sort of beige stone effect tiles. Can you recommend anything?
Thanks! :-)

I have cream textured stone - require scrubbing and never really clean. Go slate all the way

We re going with Karndean, a bit cheaper, look great and china friendly

Thanks for the tips! I hadn't really considered laminate or anything else other than tiles, but maybe that's a better option.

We're going for the TileLoc laminate from B&Q in a bathroom as tiles are too cold. It has a 15 year guarantee and says it is fine for kitchens and bathrooms. It works out about £15 a sq m.

They did have a nice B&Q own rectangular shape, but that has been discontinued (eventhough it still syas available on the website) so the TileLoc one is squares, but we will lay in a brick formation.
