House Clearance Tips

In preparation for our move from South to North we're planning a bit of a house clearance.....using a company to relieve us of all the stuff including furniture we no longer want...any advice?

contact the British Heart Foundation, or one of your local support charities - many will happily take furniture off your hands. This a) sends it to a good cause and b) leaves you will less for the people you have to pay to get rid of things.

if selling is too much hard work/time consuming, please also consider charity shops and freecycle.
