that's it really. Has some panels replaced with etched glass and i'm wondering which way the frosting should face - inside or out?

Smooth side inside, etched side outside, no?

Just looked at my Zenith door. but is dark outside. It would appear that both are smooth, so the frosted must be on one of the inner panes, but can't see which one ? Mine is a fancy flowerish frosted glass.

Looked at my door in the daylight, and definately the smooth side on the outside. Mine has a pretty leafy pattern, but cannot feel anything but smooth on the inside as well

Smooth side outside.
more dirt outside

Just called the glass place that made it. They confirmned it goes smooth surface outside which makes sense on the dirt front. Makes sense.

Mine is etched side out Confused

It's been there since Victorian times though so who knows whether it's supposed to be like that.
