Replacing natural flooring

I need to replace my natural flooring, which is sisal and has done many years active service, with something that looks as good but is cleanable, which sisal isn't. We got the sisal before we had DS and all the muddy football boots that that entails. Does anyone have any ideas?

What do you mean by "natural"?

Have you looked at seagrass?

Similar to sisal but sort of smooth, so easier to clean. Also more resistant to water.

Or are you looking to move away from a carpet type thing?

By 'natural' I'm just using the word that the flooring people use for sisal, seagrass, coir etc.

Thanks for the seagrass suggestion, discrete. I'll look into its cleanability.
