How much should I be budgeting for removals and packing?

I have set aside £1k for removals and packing, moving from 3 bed house to 3 bed house, 30 miles away. Does this sound about right? About to get quotes but would be good to hear from others beforehand.

We are going 3 bed to 4 bed 39 miles away and for packing and removals we are being charged 1.5k. This is a company I have used many times before and know they are very good.

eek I may have to budget a little more then - are they a national company or local if you don't mind me asking?

National. They also do international moves too, hence why we have used them a lot.
