Choosing a coffee table

I am trying to choose a coffee table for our new sofa. I went for a dark grey, mid century modernish style, here

and am thinking of this table, here

Currently we are in an open plan apartment (we won't always be in open plan, as we rent, and are here temporarily), and I have a mid century modern (MCM) teak table, which will have teak chairs and a MCM buffet/sideboard eventually.

Would the glass table work in the scheme? I found a teak platter that I will put on one corner of the table to tie it in a little to the teak in the dining room. The height of the table measures to the sitting height of the sofa, and it fits well within the L of the sectional.

What do you think?

I personally prefer coffee tables with more visual 'weight'.
