Boring I know can F&B b cause paint to peel?

Hi finally picked colours,applied white undercoat dulux,F&B primer( several coats) and there is a patch that keeps splitting and peeling off the walls!!!it is an old wall but has been painted before.at a loss to what to do next as ready to put colour on the rest.

Is it possible that there could be some damp in that area?

One of the best primers I know is call Binn primer and it usually covers water stain marks that type of thing but if your paint is peeling it is probably something to do with the actual wall underneath the paint.

I doubt it would be the F&B primer but I wouldn't put your top coat on till you have sorted out the problem.

You may have to sand back the whole area.

Someone like Pigletjohn is always very good with these type of problems.

I would speak to a specialist paint shop and ask for a sealant. Something is causing the paint to siss or lift and you want to get that sorted before painting your top coat.
