Can anyone recommend a company for fitted or custom made wardrobes on a not too large budget?

Have you tried a local joiner? They are cheaper than those national chains. Sorry not much help as I'm not in the Midlands. (Peeped on your profile).

I never thought of that. Would they source the wood and fixtures etc?

I haven't done wardrobes myself. But other types of work including bathroom and doors in my house. What I did is go to wickes and b&q and get brochures of things they have. Then I show the builder/plumber what I want. They usually buy their things from some builder merchant.

I assume with wardrobes, you'd need some drawings of the storage/layout you want inside?

Of course you can get someone like sliderobes over and pick their brains Grin.

That's a good idea, get some ideas, some pics then get a joiner in. Thank you!
