I am struggling to stay positive here.
First offer, recieved from the first viewers (2 years ago) fell through after OTT survey - I've seen it, it's a load of wank. We offered to renegotiate but FTBers fled, terrified. We took the house off.
This June we put it back on and, again, received an offer from the first viewer. Again, the survey terrified her. Again, we offered to pay for reports and we immediately took £10 k off as per her mortgage valuation. Not good enough - she fled.
Next viewer made an offer then two weeks later told us she had bad debt and wouldn't be able to get a mortage. Next, a cash buyer buying for his 21 yr old daughter and her boyfriend. We were two weeks from exchange and they split up. Now we're back to square one
and
.
If we sell at £5k less than our asking price (£100k) we will have lost £10k on what we paid, plus the £6k or so work we have done, to say nothing of the fees, surveys etc we have paid for on the two houses we have tried to buy and lost after being dicked around by our 'buyers.'
Is there any point in continuing?
