Does anyone have an Ikea Tromso double bunk bed with single over?

Just wondering if the Tromso is any good.
Dc are 5 and 3 and like sharing a room. The point of the double at the bottom is so that we can get in with DS when he gets out of bed in the night. He does this a lot and says he doesn't like his cot bed and wants a big one like his sister has? Dd is older and would go n top.

Any views, advice or alternatives would be great.

My parents have one for our DCs, it's great, but the top bunk is a little high so a pita for sheet changing, and it needs the bolts tightening fairly regularly.

I'd probably go with a wooden one given the options.

I've just realised that there is a section on here for cots and beds so have just started another thread here

I'm looking for an everyday use one so am thinking that maybe you're right that a wooden one would be better.
