online conveyancing - any experience

Has anyone used an online conveyancer recently - just thought given that we have never seen the conveyancer when we have sold or bought houses

Not quite an online conveyancing firm, but we did get quotes via Contact Law. We are using one of the firms they put us on to (all are members of the Law Soc) - very happy so far, and should cost roughy 40% less than the local firms I approached. Only difference I can see is that we had to post the proof of identity rather than drop it in.

Movingahead.co.uk have been fantastic for us twice. Highly recommend.
