afternoon,
I'm after advice regarding buying a new build and being financially approved. Had a guy ring on behalf of the builders to assess our affordability which he said was good. He wants to come out to discuss the best mortgage for us. Is this part of the package when buying a new home or am I going to get charged for his services? Thanks in advance.

Are you tied to a certain mortgage provider through the new build? If not its your decision as to which provider should be assessing your affordability! Un all probability he's a financial advisor linked to the property company.Id ask now what charges if any apply...and then contact your chosen mortgage co.
