Disappointed by lack of viewings on our house

We went up for sale about a week and a half ago. We're using an agent that we've had success with previously.

Anyway, we had two viewings last week and apparently one of those is looking to arrange a second viewing at some point (when??) but other than that, no more first viewings planned for this week.

Our house is in a very sought after location and property usually sells quickly round here. I think the price is ok too.

I'm just disappointed that we haven't had more first viewings in these early days. Feedback from last week was positive btw.

What can we do to get more people in?!

Dear Mintymellons

I've checked out the details you have with right move and your agents have done a good job in showing it off to it's best. I've also noticed that it seems to be the catchment areas for a number of schools and is relatively near York Station. However, what I would suggest is would it be possible to soften the front and back with a few more flowers either in pots or not. ( hanging basket ) There's just a feeling that there's quite a bit of concrete. Also , is it possible to change the layout in the larger bedroom so it looks even bigger? Also, I would suggest removing the cot if you can in your other bedroom, as the walls are very pink, the curtains are red and then there's quite a bit of furniture ( shown in the picture ) Again make it look as big as possible. Good luck with selling - as other people have said, you just have to wait sometimes to see if people are going to come and view Clare

Well, it shows what I know. We just accepted an offer not far off asking price! I'm gobsmacked.

Congratulations! I think the house was very fairly priced considering teh work you've done and it looked good.

Now what are you moving to.......

Fabulous news. I spotted your house on the way to a meeting the other day and hope things were moving for you.
