What comes first when doing a bathroom?

We have the tiles. The new suite will be bought shortly.

So what comes first. The tiles or the bath?

I know we're going to need to completely replaster before tiling, so that will def come before the new bath goes in, but no idea which way to do it after that.

When we had ours done, the bath was fitted first then the tiling done.i

Bath - that sets the line for the rest of the tiles in the room as it is visually unappealing to have a row of cut tiles along the top of the bath.

Thanks v much. I was a bit worried that we would damage the bath if we did it that way first. I'll have to work out a way of protecting it as we're severely accident prone so it doesn't get damaged.

You don't lay the tiles directly on the bath, you use spacers under them so that you can silicone afterwards. Just put some hardboard over the top of the bath to stop yourself dropping tiles into it and cracking the enamel.
