Anyone know Stow on the Wold?

We're staying in the Wyck Hill House hotel on Saturday night for our 5th wedding anniversary and we'll be in the Stow/Cheltenham area from around 11am. Is there much to do in Stow to pass a few hours, or would we be better off going into Cheltenham for lunch/shops?

Stow has very touristy type shops, so I'd go into Cheltenham. I can recommend a really lovely noodle bar there for lunch

Its Bar 288 - if you are on the High Street, you want to be on the Primark side of the road from Boots, walk down past the Brewery, and it'll be on your left, opposite the Sue Ryder shop. Max who owns it is fabulous, and the food is great
