Where can I find the price of a house taken off the market?

There's a house that used to be for sale but didn't sell, and was taken off the market, round the corner from us. I'm interested to know how much it was on the market for but I'm not sure where to look - I've found sold prices but that's not really what I need, as this one didn't actually sell but was just withdrawn.

Any idea where I should look?

Can you remember the estate agent? I'd say the price would only be with them.

How long ago? You could just try googling houses for sale and the address and see if it comes up it usually takes a while to update property websites so you might still find it.

Sometimes if you google the street name old EA ads are still on there.

Try Zoopla, they sometimes have previous property details from the agents although I don't know how long it takes to update. We found the property we have just moved into was marketed last year at a particular price and this helped in our discussions with the agent! If you find the previous sold price for the property and click on the property it should bring up the history with hopefully a link to past marketing.

On RightMove, go to the 'house prices' tab on the top and 'price comparison report' is second down the list - type in the postcode and hey presto, a list of all (supposedly) properties advertised on RM, including those removed without selling.
