If we have taken a radiator off can I still turn on the heating?

Completely clueless about these things. Have taken a radiator off in ds's room so we could have the wall plastered. We won't be decorating for a couple of weeks and I'm wondering whether, if it gets colder, I can still have the heating on in the rest of the house?

yes. as long as the pipes are turned off at either end, which it will be if it's been removed. just keep an eye out for any leaks or drips when it first comes on. we've had to do this many times while we've been decorating.
