I find interior design almost impossible due to my lack of taste, Wink so I like to take ideas and copy them. What is the point of putting a beautiful display together on a website and then the customer 'thinks wow I?ll have that', only to find they don't stock it? I fell in love with the 8th picture along with the red feature wall but I have searched the website and cannot find the curtains or the rug. Where is it? If they don't stock it, why display it? If they do stock it, why is it monumentally difficult to find?

If you click on the + sign on the rug it brings up the rugs details, but it is out of stock.

I've wizzed through all of their fabrics and can't find the curtains. From the look of it I think the curtains and rug are the same pattern and may have been discontinued. I would give their customer services a ring, or the ring the number on the page for making curtains and ask about them, if it is the same, the rug is called contempoary leaf.

Having said that I would have thought if they were discontinued then they would have included them on an ideas page, so they might just be very well hidden!

Thanks oreo, I'm glad I'm not going slightly potty and they are genuinely difficult to find. I hadn't realised the rug was out of stock.

I cannot believe that I'm going to have to start searching for curtains all over again.

ooh. Do other shops do this? I'm also decorating-challenged :) and would love to see more of this sort of thing.

John Lewis does but I had the same problem. I loved a pair of curtains in the brochure only to find nobody knew what they were. I'm cannot be the only one who would have bought a product if only a company would stock it.

If there is a interior designer/brochure designer on here take note!

I've just had a quick flick around a few other sites and I think you need to hold fire for a week or so. LA and JL and M&S appear to have very little selection compared to what they had a month or so ago. I think they are getting rid of the old stock and making way for new with the season changing.

I was looking for curtains a couple of months ago and there was a much wider choice.

Not much help to you now, but if you can wait untill the sales finish you will probably get a better choice.

When you are looking, don't forget to go into the made to measure section, they have a much wider choice in there, but of cousre they are more expensive.

Also now you have an idea of what you want, have a google for a material shop near you and go and have a look in there, then see about getting them made up. Also keep an eye on ebay, lots of new curtains crop up on there. I really struck lucky not long ago, bought a new pair of 90x90 curtains for £45 that I had intended to buy from the main shop for over £200!
