DIY decking

we have received a quote for decking and consequently contemplating doing the work ourselves. Is it as easy as it 'seems'? Or are we best to leave it to someone who knows what they are doing? Please share any experiences....

We've done it - it's pretty simple if the surface is level. Good chop saw will save you a lot of time.

We've done it too, on a very uneven surface. It's time consuming but very do-able. Decent tools and plan it out first.
