I have a large chunky modern oak dining table - it's fairly pale oak and oiled rather than varnished.
I like this sort of thing www.johnlewis.com/231444781/Product.aspx but would like to see alternatives.
The seats should ideally be leather (so kids smudging peas into them won't matter), comfortable, good for every day but dinner parties too (not that I have any). Legs MUST be oak, solid ideally.
They need to go vaguely with a Plain English type wood inframe kitchen which inevitably will be painted in muted F&B tones (cliche alert).
Anyone got any suggestions please...
