Now that DS2 is at school I finally have some time to do some DIY. First thing I want to tackle is my hall/stairs/landing - at some point I will replace the carpet which once upon a time was probably cream but is very greyish looking now, but my first job will be to strip the wallpaper off and repaint the walls. Can anyone suggest colours which won't date and will help it feel quite spacious (only live in a 3 bed semi)? I enjoy DIY projects but don't have a very artistic eye, so need all the help I can get!
