Bath enamel

I was hoping that some of you wise MNetters could help me?
DH discovered a chip in the enamel on our bath, almost certainly from when the shelf holding shampoos etc fell of the wall and clattered into the bath. This was last week, and the chipped area is getting bigger.

Is there a product we can use to patch it up?

Yes you can buy enamel bath paint for chips etc - I think ours was from b and q

You can also get stuff that you mix 2 parts together for filling deeper chunks. I have some in the cupboard that I bought 2 years ago to mend the chunk taken out of out bath. I'm too nervous to do it in case I botch it up. I don't know why, because it couldn't look worse than it does at the moment!
